We welcome Dr. Nancy Tarbell to our Board of Directors

Dr. Nancy Tarbell is the newest addition to our Board of Directors at the Nile Albright Research Foundation.

Dr. Nancy J. Tarbell is the C.C. Wang Professor Emerita of Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and a nationally recognized leader in pediatric radiation oncology. She is an authority on pediatric brain tumors and the use of proton radiation therapy. She received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and trained at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy, subsequently leading pediatric radiation oncology at Boston Children’s Hospital and later Massachusetts General Hospital. She served as Dean for Academic and Clinical Affairs at HMS from 2008–2019. Elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2002, she has authored more than 300 publications and has been a longstanding advocate for mentorship, faculty development, and women in academic medicine.
